All students complete practicum training in severe and less severe populations. These usually involve inpatient and outpatient agencies. These agencies present students with opportunities to work with clinical professionals in a variety of therapeutic orientations serving diverse populations (varying age groups, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, etc.), ensuring the students a breadth of clinical experiences in professional settings.
You receive supervision both at training sites and on-campus with Rosemead faculty, thus preparing you to interface with the mental health community while maintaining a Christian integrative conceptualization of practice.
“ One of the best and most formative experiences I had at Rosemead was at my first practicum placement. There I received outstanding supervision from a seasoned training analyst that was some of the best supervision I have ever had. As I look back, no other experience, apart from my own therapy, has had more influence on me as a practitioner today.”
