Training Sites

All students complete practicum training in severe and less severe populations. These usually involve inpatient and outpatient agencies. These agencies present students with opportunities to work with clinical professionals in a variety of therapeutic orientations serving diverse populations (varying age groups, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, etc.), ensuring the students a breadth of clinical experiences in professional settings.

You receive supervision both at training sites and on-campus with Rosemead faculty, thus preparing you to interface with the mental health community while maintaining a Christian integrative conceptualization of practice.

One of the best and most formative experiences I had at Rosemead was at my first practicum placement. There I received outstanding supervision from a seasoned training analyst that was some of the best supervision I have ever had. As I look back, no other experience, apart from my own therapy, has had more influence on me as a practitioner today.
